Crocodile Dreams on Paper art print
story of Crocodile Dreams on Paper art print:
She drew the boy first, or maybe he drew himself, faint and floating like a memory that wont sit still. The crocodile came later, stitched together in hurried lines and bruised blues, its jaw open like it was trying to say the thing nobody in the room would say out loud. On the back of the page there are notes in tiny writing, half plans, half apologies, the kind you scribble when your hands are shaking and you pretend youre just thinking. They say the river near her house dried up years ago, but some nights she still heard water under the floorboards, and she swore the old stories were true: if you ignore your fear long enough it grows legs, then teeth, then it starts following you through the day. So she kept drawing it bigger and bigger, not to make it scarier, but to finally give it a shape she could look at without blinking.
