The red jacket looks loud on purpose, like a dare, but the rest of him keeps breaking into scraps of old posters and torn-up memories, all taped back together wrong. People in the neighborhood said he used to train behind the closed cinema, jumping over puddles and cracked tiles, practicing for a show that never came. One night the power went out and the street went quiet, and he swear he heard the walls humming, like the city was trying to rewind itself. In the morning, this was left behind on the concrete, a portrait of movement with a face half-erased, as if the leap mattered more than the person.
